In 2003 Graphic artist Matthias Gephart gained his diploma in Visual Communication/Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund. In the same year he found his own studio DISTURBANITY GRAPHICS and moved from western Germany`s industrial heart to East Berlin in 2006

Passionately rooted in a variety of subcultural asthetics, his work since then was awarded with Red Dot Design, 100 Beste Plakate and ADC and has infiltrated several publications on contemporary design/illustration, like GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR THE 21st CENTURY, HANDMADE, LOS LOGOS, ILLUSIVE, FREISTIL or PUNK IS DEAD / PUNK IS EVERYTHING.
